    My work is featured at Sidestreet Arts this month! October 30 - December 1, 2019. All my work from my Mexico residency is featured, as well as work inspired by my newly-found half sisters (see bio for more info on this crazy story).

    You can see it any day they are open or join me for brunch.

    Join us Sunday, November 10, Noon - 2:00 pm for delicious brunch fare and casual mingling with artists.

    We'll serve up adult beverages and nibbly brunch time snacks. And as we do, we'll have a special gift for the first dozen visitors.
    The event is free (though you do have to be 21 or over to enjoy the adult beverages). Non-alcoholic refreshments will also be available for the non-imbibing.

    OPA Holiday Sale

    OPA is holding it’s first Holiday Sale on Small Business Saturday (& Sunday). Come find all of your handmade gifts and support your local makers at this 2-day event, featuring over 30 ceramic artists. November 30-December 1, from 10am-5pm – we’ll be at the Multnomah Arts Center, in the Dance Studio (7688 SW Capitol Hwy, SW Portland.)

    • FREE admission and on-site parking available.
    • All ages are welcome.
    • Door prizes will be raffled every 30 minutes – must be present to win.

  • Making Faces in Clay Workshop

    My mentor and friend Sara Swink (www.saraswink.com) has invited me to do a workshop in her studio. I will be focusing on how to sculpt realistic and expressive faces in clay. I will focus on "seeing" using a model or reference photos to make your work readable as naturalistic. I will show you the tools and "tricks of the trade" I use in my work.

    Learn an approach to sculpting a head at one-third size. Live model; emphasis on how to see and skill building. List of recommended tools. All levels. Limit 10 participants.
